The named renter must be 16 years of age or older and present a valid driver's license or learner's permit at delivery. Drivers under 18 must operate the cart with adult supervision. The renter is solely responsible for compliance with all state and local operator licensing requirements for low-speed vehicles. Brooks EV does not verify state operator licensing law compliance on behalf of the renter.

All rentals require a minimum of 24 hours' advance notice. This gives our team time to prep the cart, fully charge the lithium battery, and schedule delivery to your location.

No — all rentals are delivered. Brooks EV delivers every rental cart directly to the renter's address in Florida.

Delivery serves as proof of residency and confirms the cart is being operated at a verified Florida address. This protects both the renter and Brooks EV under Florida Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) and street-legal operation requirements. Showroom pickup is not available for rentals under any circumstance.

You're always welcome to visit either showroom to see the carts in person before booking your delivery.

Yes. A valid photo ID (driver's license or state ID) is required to complete any rental booking. You'll upload the front (and optionally the back) of your ID directly in the booking form below. Your ID is used to verify identity, confirm Florida residency for LSV compliance, and is kept on file per our rental agreement.

A $100 hold is placed on your credit card at delivery. The hold is released when the cart is returned in the same condition it was delivered. No issues, no charges.

You can also prepay the $100 deposit at booking to instantly lock in your dates — it becomes your security hold at delivery and is released on return.

The named renter assumes full responsibility and liability for the rental cart from the moment of delivery until the cart is picked up by Brooks EV. Brooks EV does not provide rental insurance coverage of any kind.

The renter is solely liable for any damage, theft, loss, vandalism, mechanical abuse, bodily injury, property damage, traffic citations, fines, or third-party claims arising from the operation, possession, or use of the cart during the rental period — regardless of fault.

Renters are strongly advised to verify coverage with their auto, homeowner's, renter's, or umbrella insurance policy, or to obtain short-term recreational vehicle coverage, before the rental period begins. By signing the rental agreement and providing a credit card, the renter authorizes Brooks EV to charge the card on file for any damages, losses, fines, repair costs, or claims not otherwise covered by the renter's insurance.

Normal wear is covered. Major damage — collision, electrical short, deep scratches, tire or wheel damage — is assessed at fair-cost replacement rates and charged to the credit card on file per the renter liability terms. We document the cart's condition with photos at delivery and pickup so there are no surprises on either side.

Yes — within reason. Our rentals are LSV street-legal in Florida, meaning you can drive on any road with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less. Highways, interstates, and 50+ mph zones are not permitted and are the renter's liability if violated.

All rentals arrive fully charged. To recharge, plug the included charger into any standard household 110V outlet overnight. A full lithium charge gets you roughly 50-60 miles depending on terrain, speed, and passenger load.

Yes. We do fleet rentals for weddings, corporate events, golf outings, family reunions, and resort gatherings. Custom pricing depending on cart count and duration. Call (352) 777-9909 to discuss — fleet bookings still require the 24-hour minimum notice (or Luxury Expedited Service for short-notice events). All event rentals are delivered to the event address.

Full refund if cancelled 48 or more hours before delivery. 50% refund for 24-48 hours notice. No refund within 24 hours of scheduled delivery. Reschedules are free with 24+ hours notice. Luxury Expedited Service fees are non-refundable once the cart is dispatched.

We deliver across Pasco County ($25), Hernando County ($45), Citrus/Coastal ($55), and The Villages ($150). Outside these zones, call us for a custom quote — we cover most of Central Florida on request. All rentals are delivered; showroom pickup is not available.
