📋 Rental Agreement & Acceptance

By completing checkout, you (the "Renter") enter into a legally binding rental agreement with Brooks EV Golfcarts & Repair LLC. A copy of this agreement is included in your order confirmation email.

Payment & Deposit

• Full rental amount + $100 refundable security deposit is collected at checkout.
• Deposit refunded within 5 business days of cart return in clean, undamaged condition.
• Damage beyond the $100 deposit is invoiced separately.

Driver & Use Requirements

• Driver must be 21+ with valid US driver's license (verified at delivery).
• NO operation under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Passenger count may not exceed the cart's designated seating capacity.
• Approved areas only — neighborhoods, golf courses, designated paths.

Damage Schedule

• Minor cosmetic damage (scratches, scuffs): $50–$200
• Major damage (bent frame, broken accessories): assessed at repair cost
• Total loss or theft: full replacement cost
• Battery damage from over-discharge or improper charging: $500–$2,500

Cancellation

• 48+ hours notice: full refund minus 5% processing fee
• 24–48 hours notice: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours or no-show: non-refundable

Late Return

• $25/hour past the agreed return time (max $250/day)
• Carts not returned within 48 hours of agreed return are reported as stolen

Liability Waiver

Renter is fully responsible for insurance coverage during the rental period. Brooks EV is released from all liability for accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during rental use. Renter waives and releases Brooks EV Golfcarts & Repair LLC, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, losses, or legal actions arising from rental use.

By clicking "Pay now" at checkout, the Renter acknowledges that they:

• ✓ Understand this agreement is a legally binding contract
• ✓ Will receive a copy of this agreement in their order confirmation email
• ✓ Are 21+ years old with a valid US driver's license
• ✓ Accept all terms regarding payment, deposit, liability, and damage
